Vintage Lotus Veldtschoen Shoes Zug Leather Army Officers 9.5 WW2 Model
Made with real ZUG leather. Lotus Veldtschoen shoes are the perfect footwear for wet and muddy countryside terrain. They probably don't get much better than this.
This particular model of shoe was also worn by British Army Officers during WW2, so is an ideal shoe for WW2 military enthusiasts. Size: marked inside 9.5 EX. Please refer to measurements below. Width across toes: 11.5cm. Internal leather and lined linen is excellent. The bellows tongues are also excellent. Leather soles show some light wear, but have plenty of wear left in them. All round, these are a beautiful and robust country shoe. I have conditioned the leather uppers with a natural leather cream and they are finished them with a light application of dubbin for added waterproofing. I find this method suits ZUG leather best, and avoids hard and unnecessary wax polish finishes. Original metal tipped, waxed cotton laces supplied.
