Original WW2 British Army Royal Engineers Officer Jacket Maj J. Genuine period service dress jacket as worn by Major John Charles Kubale 171546. (Associate Member of the Institute of Electrical Engineers). Who served in the Royal Engineers and awarded a Militray MBE during the Second World War.

C Kubale was commisoned as an officer and later promoted to the rank of 2nd Lieutenant which was published in the London Gazette; t. He undermentioned to be 2nd Lts. 1941 John Charles Kubale (171546), A. E (Associate Member of the Institute of Electrical Engineers). Published in the London Gazette 29th April 1941, supplement 35150, page 2495..

In 1943 he was awrded the MBE: to be Additional Members of the Military Division of the said Most Excellent Order:-Lieutenant (temporary Captain) John Charles Kubale (171546), Corps of Royal Engineers (Stoke Pogos). Published in the London Gazette 12th October 1943, supplement 36209, page 4542. The jacket is in overal good original clean condition and m. Ade from all natural fibres.

There are a couple of minor defeacts: a couple of small moth holes to the arms and a stitching repair has become loose to the armpit which could be easiliy repared. Features: brass George VI Royal Engineers buttons, bronze. Collar badges, crowns to each epaulette denoting the rank of Major and tailors label to the interior of the jacket which reads. And at -31, Sackville St. The approximate measurements of the jacket are.
